This is another from the same friend from the previous entry:
Work is like that........ .....
There are 2 people always next to you:
1 - The (Manager), smiling pleasantly to hide evil intentions!
2 - The (Team Leader), busy figuring out what work to dump on you next.....
And, there's YOU, who struggles with it all!
The perfect picture is given below
Team leader YOU Manager
*****
Having put this up, it does imply I have nothing better to do. Well, sort of.

Yo, go back to work!
Have u been a manager or team leader?
I have this not so bossly habit of wanting to do the work the 1st time around. Then only would I delegate it to someone else. I don't know maybe because I am of the opinion that a boss, besides managing, should also, be able to guide. To guide you must have knowledge and skills.
You see I have seen many times bosses reprimanding their subordinates wrongly. This happened because they do not know head or tail of the matter. I don't like that. Being a manager is not just having managerial skills. You must have knowledge of what you are working on.
Salam Fatin,
All 3: manager, team leader, and the unlucky fella up there too! All at different stages of life, off course.
Hmm...dah pandai ber-yo! :)
Salam Cikgu,
I understand where you're coming from, as I have been a victim of such 'managers' before. They are pretty damning most of the times, and only want results that are positive to their portfolio, without wanting to understand the problems or obstacles their subordinate face.
Needless to say, I left 3 posts because of this. Though I must add, it was at my peril.
hey, dont talk bad about managers. i'm one fine manager...of a fantasy football team...kahkahh...
i too, like you bro, have nothing much to do. no wait, i'll rephrase that. i have nothing better to do actually.
salam shah,
wait, wait...i oso manager. like kerp, sometimes i have nothing better to do. sometimes i do things for the better.
but seriouslah shah, being a mum is about them not depending on you.
Salam kerp,
lol! One of these days bro, I'm going to buy one of those old table soccer game and challenge you to one. Hey, its fun! Instead of a small ball, they had a small disc, almost button like, where you flick to your players. And now that I've put it down here, I kind of miss the game.
Off course, at the later stage, instead of playing soccer with the figurines, I used them as toy soldiers!
Salam Accia,
Welcome to my humble abode of the mind.
Seriously, being a manager is to manage your subordinates to be able to perform their duties without you harassing them. In your case, or rather, a mum's case, is to teach your children how to regiment their daily lives without much supervision. That way, they become independent. Yup, a mum's a manager alright; but the lovable kind, off course :)
Ha-ha.. maybe I should just count my lucky stars. I'm just a coolie, albeit a well paid one. I'm not paid to think, just TO DO!
If you ask me, managers are paid to think, kita buat aje.. :)
Salam shah:
The pic you put up here summed up everything.
I agree with Che'gu. A manager should know the ropes too. They should know what and who they are managing.
But unfortunately, many friends told me the young managers of today...sebijik habuk pun tak tau apa!
And they can't solve the problems involved.Better to take a Mat Bangla or Mat Nepal to become one.
I am now a coolie, a jamban washer and manager all in one.
you mean subbuteo table soccer? that was rad man. i had like 4 teams back then. a friend of mine would organise a championship league and 4 of us would gather around on saturdays for some flicks. funny this was easily forgotten. wish i had kept at 1 team, or even a player or 2.
Salam matsalo,
Hehe...I wouldn't mind getting your job!
Salam Doc,
Your last sentence - you may be that, but you get good money with it! :)
Entahlah Doc, my last post tu, the chairman ingat dia tahu semua, ended up screwing everything, and nearly the girls in the office too! Nearly ye.
Kerp bro,
Subbutteo was a later version, and I never got around to that. But the rules and play was the same.
Er, you didn't turn them into toy soldiers too, did you? :)
