Final Instalment

Ok, the fault at the major interchange of Talkonly.blogspot has finally been repaired. Thus, that cakapaje bloke can now resume with his normal self (hopefully lah!). But having played several numbers whilst the fault was repaired, it would be quite rude ending it without putting up another before normal screening begins. The problem now though, is what to put up?

I've put up Rare Earth, George Benson, Adam and the Ants (ada story sebenarnya), and Los Lobos. But the truth is, there's so much more to share and so little space to do it. There's still BB King, David Sanborn, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, and a whole lot more! As such, I am seriously thinking about blogging any I find - any that I like, off course. Its not a bad idea and perhaps by tomorrow, I'll put up one where each entry will have at least 3 songs. In the meantime, do enjoy these 3 numbers, starting with a slow number.

And a number which Doc TA and Cikgu would surely recognise...I just love the raw unedited live music here.

Hey! I'm just in the mood for some solid yesteryears rock. And it just cannot be complete without this next video. Though the production seem quite recent, and the band regrouped perhaps just for this concert, the music is certainly discernibly Deep Purple.

Extremely enjoyed Deep Purples Smoke On The Water. Brought back memories of my young carefree days hahaha.

yeahh Shah, rock on!

hehehhehhe...

now you're talking man. Smoke In The Water is a must-learn tune for guitar newbies. if you cant play that then you might as well put the guitar on sale and dont ever dream of becoming a musician.

Salam Pak Zawi,

Glad to know you enjoyed Smoke On The Water :) But unfortunately, I will have to disappoint you regarding Los Lobos; I searched by there were none on them singing Beautiful Maria Of My Soul. Instead there were lots of other singers or if it was by Los Lobos, the visual was made by an independent party and not appealing at all. I will however picked the best and put it in the new blog especially for you.

Smoke on the water is an anthem for rockers. Yes if you learn to play the guitar especially when playing bar chords then SOTW is a must know.

Salam Cikgu,

Too right you are! But if you ask me the chords now, I would have to shamefully admit I don't know them anymore. Best I can do now is strum Rod Stewart's 'Sailing', tu pun ingat lagi tidak pun tak tahu lol!

Salam Shah:

Wow! I'm enjoying every bit of this entry. First there's Jim Croche, a fantastic songwriter and singer with the folks genre.

Now, who won't be ready to love the Bad Company? Yes the rawness of this clip made the live atmosphere felt like you were there.

Deep Purple's SOTW!Thats like the national anthem for all rockers , to this day!

LETS ROCK!!!
( in Malaysia its WA CAYA LU BRADER!!!!)
